Making the Trailer for Mesmerised. Part three

Teodora, Lili and I got to the location at around 7.30 am on Friday.
Then, as Lili created the sets

I spent around six hours in London traffic collecting the costumes
from the National Theatre, lighting equipment from North West London, and buying fabric from John Lewis in Oxford Street.

And Teodora continued producing

Having collected the costumes, and on my way to get the lights, I got a call from Teodora asking where I was. She needed  a lift back to the location. I was in Victoria. She was in Knightsbridge.
How lucky was that?

When we finally, finally, got back to the location at around 7.30pm, Fabrizio Accetulli had arrived.
He's our director of photography and the guy in the above picture wearing a white tee-shirt and standing next to Teodora. Not the guy walking up the stairs, that's Giacomo Hug, our first assistant director.
At around 10.30pm, after a relaxing meal at The Day of the Raj, I was pooped and had to call it a day. I believe the others stopped working at about 2am. They were due to start work again at 7am the next morning. It was to be our big day, the day of the film shoot ...
